The futurity is limited to horses 5 years and younger. A sponsoring organization may have other restrictions such as restrictions on a horse being competed on prior to a certain date, entries being limited to a certain breed, etc. This is open to all breeds and to horses and ponies that have not competed before December 31st 2009.
